Pasdeloup is the perfect party for your mouth.
Our favourite unpretentious neighbourhood spot, Pasdeloup, can cater to all types of needs, whether its cocktails + bar snacks, natural wines + share plates or more recently, Sunday brunch.
One might go for the cocktails, knowing that Amanda Boucher could be graciously presiding over the copper piped bar. Our favourite is La Souplesse, a cognac creation served in two parts, one of which resides on a bed of ice.
Should you snack, you will definitely come back for the food, which has taken a more ambitious tone since the appointment of Lina Caschetto last summer.
A maverick with vegetables, some of our favourite dishes are simple Cauliflower pierogis, or a striking mix of broccoli, soft boiled eggs and anchovies. For the meat lovers, try the beef tartare with Roqueforte cream.
There is a small terrace for summer nights & smokers, an upstairs lounge for lovers and more than one cosy little nooks to knock back a cocktail and take in the DJ’s.
Cosy and inexpensive, friendly and unfussy, Pasdeloup is the perfect place to have an impromptu serious drink.
Impress fellow hipsters: sacrifice your sleep in on Sunday and take in Brunch from 12.30 – 3.30pm. Order the Toad in the Hole.
