Abri Sandwich

Abri Pork Katsu Sandwich

Paris’ most satisfying Katsu sandwich goes on sale Saturday & Monday only at l’Abri.

Katsu porc, omelette, cabbage, feather-light mayonnaise, melted cheddar and tonkatsu sauce – all on crustless square white bread. Sounds wrong, tastes just right.

A far cry from the five-course tasting menu that will require human sacrifice to secure a reservation, the sandwich is a walk-in only number from 12.30pm two days per week.

Available in France’s famed formule, your sandwich arrives with a drink and something small and sweet for €13. Best of all, these delectable snacks are available until 5pm on Saturday and Monday.

Another reason to go and eat the sandwich, is to make the human sacrifice necessary to get the aforementioned holy-grail dinner reservation.

Expect to book 4-5 weeks in advance, but have the added bonus of a human in front of you with the reservation book who cannot ignore your call or give you the brush-off complet treatment.

We call it sandwich with a side of something to look forward to.

Impress fellow hipsters: Chef Katsuaki Okiyama previously worked at l’Atelier du Joel Robuchon, Taillevent and l’Agapé Bistrot.
